Refund and Dispute Policy

Effective October 22, 2026

About this policy

This policy explains when payments to Web Design Point can be refunded and how we resolve a disagreement about a project or a charge. It forms part of our Terms of Service. Where a signed proposal sets different refund terms, the signed proposal prevails for that engagement.

Packages ordered online

Packages are paid in full at checkout. You may cancel for a full refund at any time before your first private preview is sent to you.

Once a preview has been sent, the creative and technical work has been delivered for review, so fees are not refundable. We continue to complete the project, including the two rounds of refinements included in website and logo packages.

Custom engagements and proposals

Custom projects, including web applications, mobile apps, ecommerce and automation work, are billed by the milestones in your signed proposal. A deposit or milestone payment covers the work in that milestone.

If you cancel, you pay for milestones that are complete or in progress on the date we receive your written notice. Payments for milestones we have not started are refunded in full.

Monthly programs

Monthly programs such as search engine optimization, maintenance and advertising management are billed in advance and may be ended with 30 days written notice. The month already underway is not refunded. Advertising spend paid directly to Google, Meta or another platform is controlled by that platform and cannot be refunded by us.

Corrections and changes after delivery

If something we delivered does not match the approved brief or does not work as agreed, tell us within 30 days of delivery and we will correct it at no cost.

New requests after delivery, such as additional pages, new features or a change of direction, are welcome. You can request them from your project page or by email, and we send a written quote before any new work begins.

When we refund without being asked

If we are unable to deliver the work described in your order or proposal, we refund the fees for every part of the work we did not deliver.

If you were charged twice or charged an incorrect amount, we refund the difference as soon as we confirm the error.

How to request a refund

Email support@webdesignpoint.com from the address on your order with your order or invoice number and a short description of the issue. We reply within two business days and aim to resolve every request within ten business days.

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Card refunds usually appear within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank. For payments made in cryptocurrency, we refund the US dollar amount you paid, in the same currency, to a wallet address you confirm in writing.

Disputes and chargebacks

If you are unhappy with a project or a charge, please contact us first. Most concerns are resolved quickly once we understand them, and contacting us does not affect any right you have with your bank or card issuer.

If a dispute or chargeback is opened with a payment provider, we respond with the records of the engagement, including your order or signed proposal, the brief you submitted, previews and approvals, delivery records and our correspondence. Work on the project is paused while the dispute is open.

Ownership of custom deliverables transfers only once the agreed fees are paid in full, as stated in our Terms of Service. If a payment is reversed, the license to use the affected deliverables ends until the balance is settled.

Any dispute that is not resolved directly is governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, as set out in the Governing law section of our Terms of Service.
